Enter the VIN of a KSR scooter to read what the number says.
Enter the 17-character VIN of a KSR scooter and the decoder shows the manufacturer, the model year and the country of manufacture. Our data on the brand covers 22 models from 2016 to 2021, from the Classic 50 and Cruzer 50 up to the Code 125, the TTX and the Worx, with engine sizes between 49 and 288 cc.
The decoder reads only the VIN itself, so it says nothing about accidents, mileage, theft entries or previous owners. That information comes from a vehicle history report, which is a separate paid service, while the decoder stays free and needs no registration.

A VIN has 17 characters, and the letters I, O and Q are never used, so they cannot be mistaken for 1 and 0. The first three characters identify the manufacturer and the country, and this is the part the decoder uses for those two answers. Characters 4 to 8 describe the machine, but each maker codes them in its own way. The 9th is a check digit, required in North America. The 10th gives the model year, the 11th the assembly plant, and characters 12 to 17 are the serial number. For a KSR scooter, the 10th character should fit a year between 2016 and 2021, the range in our data.
On a motorcycle or scooter the VIN is usually stamped into the frame, often near the steering head, and repeated on a plate or sticker. You will also find it in the registration papers. The 17-character format applies to vehicles built since 1981, so an older machine may carry a shorter frame number that a VIN decoder cannot read. Models such as the Sirion 50, Sirion 125, Demonio 50 and Demonio 125 come in different engine sizes under a similar name, so compare the VIN on the machine with the papers rather than relying on the model name.
The decoder reads the number. A history report looks for the records tied to it.

Characters 1 to 3 identify the manufacturer and the country. The decoder uses them to show who built the scooter and where.
The 10th character of the VIN stands for the model year. Enter the full VIN and the decoder shows the year, which for the KSR models in our data falls between 2016 and 2021.
It does not show accidents, mileage, theft entries or owners, because none of that is stored in the VIN. It also cannot read the short frame numbers found on machines built before 1981.
Check that the VIN on the frame, on the plate and in the papers is the same, and that the characters look untouched. Confirm the engine size in the papers as well, since names like TR 50 and TR 125 or Sirion 50 and Sirion 125 differ in size.
