Enter a 17-character VIN and the Eadon Green decoder reads what is built into the number itself: the manufacturer, the model year and the country of manufacture. Our data for the brand covers three models, Black Cuillin, Zanturi and Zeclat, with version data for model years 2017 to 2023.
A VIN does not contain accidents, mileage, theft records or previous owners. That information comes from a paid vehicle history report, while the decoder itself stays free and needs no registration.

Every VIN has 17 characters, and the letters I, O and Q are never used, so they cannot be mistaken for 1 and 0. The first three characters are the WMI, which identifies the manufacturer and the country or region. We do not currently have any WMI codes mapped to Eadon Green, so there are none to list here, and we do not name a country of manufacture for the brand.
Characters 4 to 8 describe the vehicle, and character 9 is a check digit. North America requires it, while many European VINs fill that position differently. Character 10 is the model year. For the years in our Eadon Green data, H stands for 2017, J for 2018, K for 2019, L for 2020, M for 2021, N for 2022 and P for 2023.
Character 11 usually points to the plant, and characters 12 to 17 are the serial number. This scheme applies to cars built since 1981.
Every VIN has six parts. This is what each of them means.
| Part | Characters | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| WMI | 1 to 3 | World manufacturer identifier: who built the vehicle and where |
| VDS | 4 to 8 | Vehicle descriptor: model, body type and engine, as set by the manufacturer |
| Check digit | 9 | Control value that helps confirm the VIN is valid |
| Model year | 10 | Code for the model year |
| Plant | 11 | Code for the assembly plant |
| Serial | 12 to 17 | Production sequence number of this vehicle |

Stamped on the firewall or the frame on many models.
A VIN is built from six parts, and each one says something about the vehicle. Our guides explain how to read it and what it can and cannot tell you.

The VIN is usually printed on a plate at the base of the windscreen, on a label in the door frame and in the registration papers. Compare these places, because the number should be the same everywhere.
The first three characters are the WMI, which shows the manufacturer and the region of origin. We have no WMI codes on file for Eadon Green, so we cannot list any, and our list is not a complete record of what exists.
Look at the tenth character. In our data the model years run from 2017 to 2023, which correspond to the letters H, J, K, L, M, N and P in that order. A VIN with P in that position, for example, points to model year 2023.
It cannot show accident damage, mileage, theft status or how many owners the car has had. It also does not give body style or power figures, because we have no such data for this brand.
Make sure the VIN on the car matches the one in the ownership papers and that the plate shows no signs of tampering. Ask for service records, and decode the VIN to confirm that the model year fits the seller's description.
