Enter a 17-character VIN and the HistoVIN decoder reads what the number itself contains for a Bremach: the manufacturer, the model year and the country of manufacture. Our Bremach data currently covers one model, listed as SUV, with model year 2021. The decoder is free and needs no registration.
A VIN does not hold accidents, mileage, theft records or previous owners. That information comes from a paid vehicle history report.

Every VIN has 17 characters, and the letters I, O and Q are never used. The first three characters are the World Manufacturer Identifier, or WMI, which tells you who built the vehicle and where. For Bremach we have no WMI codes mapped yet, so we cannot name a country of manufacture for this brand. Our list is not complete, so a VIN that starts with other characters is not a problem in itself.
Characters 4 to 8 describe the vehicle, and character 9 is the check digit. North American VINs must use it as a check digit, while many European VINs fill it differently. Character 10 gives the model year. Our Bremach version data covers 2021 only, and for 2021 that character is M. Character 11 marks the plant, and characters 12 to 17 are the serial number of the individual vehicle.
Every VIN has six parts. This is what each of them means.
| Part | Characters | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| WMI | 1 to 3 | World manufacturer identifier: who built the vehicle and where |
| VDS | 4 to 8 | Vehicle descriptor: model, body type and engine, as set by the manufacturer |
| Check digit | 9 | Control value that helps confirm the VIN is valid |
| Model year | 10 | Code for the model year |
| Plant | 11 | Code for the assembly plant |
| Serial | 12 to 17 | Production sequence number of this vehicle |

A VIN is built from six parts, and each one says something about the vehicle. Our guides explain how to read it and what it can and cannot tell you.

It is normally printed in the registration documents and on the vehicle itself. Common places are the base of the windscreen and a plate or sticker in the door frame. Make sure the number on the vehicle matches the number in the papers.
The first three characters are the WMI, the code for the manufacturer and its country. We have no WMI codes mapped to Bremach at the moment, so the decoder may not be able to name the manufacturer or country for every VIN.
Look at the 10th character. The Bremach data we hold covers model year 2021, which appears as the letter M in that position. The decoder reads this for you.
It cannot show accidents, mileage, theft status or the number of owners, because none of that is stored in the VIN. It only decodes the characters of the number.
Compare the VIN on the vehicle with the one in the documents, and check that it has 17 characters and no I, O or Q. Ask the seller for service records and inspect the SUV in person, ideally with someone who knows the technical side.
