This free decoder reads the 17 characters of a B.Engineering VIN and shows the manufacturer, the model year and the country of manufacture. Our version data for the brand covers one model, the Edonis, with model years from 2002 to 2006. You do not need to register or pay to use it.
A VIN holds no accident records, mileage readings, theft entries or owner details, so the decoder cannot show them. That information comes from a paid vehicle history report.

Every VIN has 17 characters and never uses the letters I, O or Q. The first three characters are the WMI, which identifies the manufacturer. Characters 4 to 8 describe the vehicle, character 9 is a check digit, character 10 gives the model year, character 11 the plant, and characters 12 to 17 are the serial number.
We do not currently know of any WMI codes that map to B.Engineering, so we have no list of starting characters to show you here, and no country to attach to the brand. That is a limit of our data, not a verdict on any VIN you hold. Enter yours and the decoder will read what it can from the 17 characters.
The model year is easier to check. For the 2002 to 2006 range in our Edonis data, character 10 would be 2 for 2002, 3 for 2003, 4 for 2004, 5 for 2005 and 6 for 2006. Character 9 is a required check digit in North America, while many European VINs fill it differently, so do not read too much into it.
Every VIN has six parts. This is what each of them means.
| Part | Characters | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| WMI | 1 to 3 | World manufacturer identifier: who built the vehicle and where |
| VDS | 4 to 8 | Vehicle descriptor: model, body type and engine, as set by the manufacturer |
| Check digit | 9 | Control value that helps confirm the VIN is valid |
| Model year | 10 | Code for the model year |
| Plant | 11 | Code for the assembly plant |
| Serial | 12 to 17 | Production sequence number of this vehicle |

Stamped on the firewall or the frame on many models.
A VIN is built from six parts, and each one says something about the vehicle. Our guides explain how to read it and what it can and cannot tell you.

The VIN is normally printed on the vehicle registration document and on a plate or stamping on the vehicle itself. Check that the characters on the vehicle and on the paperwork are identical before you type them in.
The first three characters are the WMI, which identifies the manufacturer. We have no WMI codes on record for B.Engineering, so we cannot list any here. Our list is not complete, and a VIN starting with other characters is not a cause for concern.
Look at character 10 of the VIN. In the 2002 to 2006 range covered by our data, the characters are 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, in that order.
It cannot show accidents, mileage, theft or previous owners, because none of that is stored in the VIN. It also does not give body style or power figures for this brand, as we have no data on them.
Make sure the VIN on the vehicle matches the one in the documents, and that the model year from character 10 fits what the seller says. Then ask for service records and have the vehicle inspected in person.
